These photos were taken when Autumn was 9 days old. My maternity shoot was our first ever professional family photos and these are our first as a family of four!
Matthew has informed me he is officially done with photos for at least another five years ;) Men just don't like this kinda thing... I can see how having two shoots in a few weeks can seem like a lot.
Clearly Halle thought so too, as she was not loving this second round of pictures either. Explaining family photos to a toddler who is still wondering who this new baby is a tough task. Not to mention Halle is always on the move, so sitting still is a challenge. Anddd our shoot was just before nap time, again...
We set up Halle's play tent (which she loves) as a background prop for the girls. It was an attempt for Halle to stay in one place and near her sister and the camera. We got a couple of decent shots out of hundreds ha ha...
I'm pleased with the overall edits. We decided on a lifestyle shoot at home and these not so perfect moments show what life is really like for us at this moment :)
I'm also glad that we were able to get photos of the girls with their grandparents since Matthew's parents were visiting at the time.
