Yesterday marked 25, err maybe 26, weeks pregnant for me!
Apparently there is still some confusion about my due date. My LMP date and second trimester ultrasound date differ by exactly a week so Sunday is my 'count day' either way. You'd think I'd want too speed up the countdown and to be a week ahead... I personally think October 5th, rather than September 28, is a more accurate date. But for appointment wise, my doc is using the earlier date.
That being said I'm mentally preparing myself to expect baby anywhere between mid September until mid October, ha!

Week 25
Changes?
So far I've gained about 13 lbs. My belly button has been (odd and) out for a while. And no stretch marks!
Craving?
My thing last week was muffins! I did a little baking and made my favourite banana muffin recipe (found here). I also tried a new blueberry recipe found via Pinterest. The title "Saturday Morning Muffins" caught my eye during my weekend bake hunt. First I made them with the sugar crumble top called for in the recipe but later made a double batch without the sugar and preferred the plain ones! Plus it simplifies the prep! Halle was a big fan of both the banana and blueberry muffins, too :)
I also made a lot of breakfast this week. As in cheesy scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns for supper a couple of times... Breakfast sandwiches for lunch... Easy to make and I was always in the mood.
Feeling?
I have had a creative urge this week! Wanting to start projects or try new hobbies. I plan on sharing more in a future post, so stay tuned ;)
Sleeping?
I was more tired than usual lately. Maybe from staying up a little later while Matthew had his week off. Halle also woke up once a night, for a few nights last week, for the first time in a while!! It could have been because of our company, or her molars growing in, who knows, but she seems to be back on track... An uninterrupted sleep definitely makes a difference for any momma, especially a pregnant one!
That's all for this week! If you missed it, my previous update can be found here :)
